1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? definitely wrapping
2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial because of allergies
3. When do you put up the tree? when we get to it, usually the weekend after Tgiving, but this year we just have a tree with lights (since most is in storage)...it's pretty pitiful.
4. When do you take the tree down? usually mid-January, but this year soon after Christmas
5. Do you like eggnog? no, it's like drinking watery pudding or really thick milk - it's a texture thing
6. Favorite gift received as a child? a green riding tractor--complete with spark plug wires. I was the hit of the hood at age 4
7. Hardest person to buy for? Brandt (he always wants socks and underwear--can you say BO-RING?)
8. Easiest person to buy for? Annie (she wants everything!)
9. Do you have a nativity scene? yes at least 2 or 3
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? mail
11.Worst Christmas gift you ever received? a VCR when I thought I was getting a microwave (my husband would want me to clarify that it was not from him!)
12.Favorite Christmas Movie? White Christmas (I think)- it's the one with Bing Crosby & Danny Kaye where they go to their old army sargent's Inn and save him from going under...but I also love Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and A Charlie Brown Christmas, but those are TV shows, not movies I guess.
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Usually early December - I really LOVE shopping on Christmas eve, but since I'm done by then, it's just for fun.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yup, but that's all I'm gonna say
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Christmas cookies!
16. Lights on the tree? white
17. Favorite Christmas song? Mary Did you Know?
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Home this year
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Oh, you know dasher, and dancer and prancer and vixen, comet and cupid and donner and blitzen. But do you re-call, the most famous reindeer of all.....Rudolph the red nose reindeer...had a very shiny nose...
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? usually an angel but we have nothing this year - it's in storage
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Annie gets to pick one on Christmas Eve, then the rest have to wait until Christmas Day
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? feeling pressured to get everything done
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? I love the color Red, so we have a lot of red & green this time of year
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? turkey & dressing that my Mom made back in the old days when she cooked...mine just doesn't taste the same for some reason.
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? a really cool camera strap and case for my new baby Canon that I found on Etsy. Brandt, I REALLY hope you took the hint and the web address I emailed ya...
