I've had this Christmas cactus for years...not sure how many, but it did move to Kerrville from Ft Worth after a few years of neglect. It never bloomed in Ft Worth. Since we moved here it has bloomed every Christmas. All I do is put it on the deck during the warm months and move it to the window in cooler months, and of course water it every once in a while. This summer it got so big, that half of it just broke off, so now that it is one-sided, it sits in the window nicely. When we got back from our driving tour of the southeast, I mean to tell ya it was bloomin like a big dawg. Obviously it loves Kerrville way more than Ft Worth.
