How do you do it?

Many times I get asked where do you work...I respond I work in the hospital with pediatric oncology patients. 9 times outta 10 I get the same response..."OH, I don't know how you do that, isn't that sad?" Well sometimes it is sad, but most of the time the patients are fun, loving, and VERY inspirational. One of my patients is Alyssa who has a brain tumor, yes that is sad, but sad stuff happens every day in the world. She is still a fun loving, hopeful child with a great family. It is a pleasure to know her. Here is a video that her mom had put together just for her just before her surgery. This is just a smidgen of why I love what I do.
