Hi, a quick post.
We drove to Kerrville on Friday, May 8, picked up a moving truck in El Paso on the way. On Saturday morning, people just showed up and BLESSED us with boxes, packing stuff and labor. People brought stuff my poor feeble brain could not dredge up...things like water for the volunteers, tape and markers. By about 4pm the truck was completely loaded and my friends Amy, Celia and Sandy were cleaning. I'm not sure I even packed a complete box myself, someone would just appear and take over. Men from the church and neighborhood just showed up to help my husband load the truck.
WE ARE SO BLESSED, I can't tell you how much.
In addition our friends Mark & Julie, who own a B&B on the river provided us with restful lodging and a wonderful Mother's Day of relaxing by the river before our drive back.
It was so good to see friends...I cried quite a bit on the long drive to Tucson just thinking of how blessed we are, how we will miss our beautiful home (but so grateful the Mitchell family will love it as much as we do), how we will miss our neighbors and dear friends, and how we miss you all at Impact Christian Fellowship. We will NEVER have good friends like we have in Kerrville, you are all one of a kind. Blessings to all who have been praying for our family. I love you all. OK now I'm crying in my office at work.
Now the unpacking begins...wil it ever end?

love u!!
It was our pleasure to not only bless you but ease the burden of moving, cheer the sadness in the leaving, and be the thinkers that are needed at such a time as this. See you in Tucson, friends!
I need to meet these wonderful people! Since you are gone, maybe they need someone to fill your place....if that's possible. :) Lisa~
Hi Lisa, two of those dear friends are right above here...Kristi and Celia (paperpotter).
I would LOVE it if you took my place! You probably know the wonderful family who bought our home...Heather Mitchell. It was so much easier knowing they are now in our home.
