Countdown to Christmas day 15!!

WOW, where did the last week go??? OK sorry that I've been out of it for a week...our entire family has been sick, but we are on the mend and thankfully Annie's asthma did not flare up. Can you believe how cold it is today? Here in the Hill Country it's in the low 40s with a pretty brisk wind making it feel really cold! The sky is gray--like snow could fall any minute. It would be a great day to sit in front of the fireplace, addressing those Christmas cards...is it just me or is everyone running behind?



Annie was in a school play recently. We rehearsed lines constantly for about a month, she had them down the first week. She needed a GOAT costume. OK, I'm a little creative, but a goat? Every time I rode thru the countryside I took a long look at the cute little goats and tried to get a costume in my head. SO, finally the weekend before the play I decided it was time to actually stop using the think method and make the costume. After a couple of evening trips to Dollar General, Walmart and Hometown Crafts, we came up with something kinda like a goat.




She was the cutest one!!! she said her lines perfectly, she smiled, and had a good time. Her good friend Katelyn, the lead in the play, was fabulous! These girls are headed for fame I'll tell ya.
