New bike

Annie got a new bike today and we took it out for a test run. Pretty good after only an hour of practice I'd say. We can hardly wait to ride together!

SO, Sorry I've tried to upload the video I took of Annie riding her new bike, and just can't get it to work....pictures laters I guess. She had been riding 2 days now and so far without a big mishap. It's slow going, I really need someone who is a better instructor to come and fill in the gap here. I'm a pitiful teacher - "just don't crash" doesn't really cut it. So I just stand there with sweaty palms and say "good job honey!"

Oh I remember my first bike. My dad tried to teach me, but I couldn't really get it. Then a friend rode by and teased me about being a baby and off I went. (don't feel bad for me, no damage done. I WAS kind of a baby!)

She'll learn. You don't have to be the best teacher. You just have to standing there letting her know you care. Lisa~

My first bike was a huge fat-tired Schwinn that was so much too big for me that my mother would call the neighbor before I headed over to her house so her father would be out in the street as I rode by to grab me off of it and let the bike crash to the ground. If he wasn't home, then I crashed into the bushes and fell off.

..... I know ..... this is the final piece of the puzzle, huh?
