done and DONE!!!

I have wonderful news...but I'm getting ahead of myself here. My dear friend and card making genius, Celia (who, by the way is a Stampin' Up! demonstrator right there in Kerrville) has been praying fervently for the sale of our house, even though she totally admitted that it wasn't HER idea for me to leave Kerrville. Well, a few weeks ago she discussed getting "REALLY specific in our prayers". So, she decided to pray that the buyers for our house would sell their house by the end of April, so that we could close by the end of May.

Ok, I hope you know where we are going with this. I agreed with her. SOOOOOOOO- on Tuesday we received a call from our dear friend and realtor, Amy Ely (with Coldwell Banker of Ktown). The nice Mitchell family had received an offer on their home. She said "OK, now don't get excited Lisa, it's just an offer." Now how do I NOT get excited? By the end of the day, the Mitchells had accepted the CASH offer on their home.

SO WE SOLD OUR HOUSE ON APRIL 28th---
GOD had 2 days to spare!

Take that you skeptics (not that any read my blog, however). We are closing on Monday, May 11 (which happens to be my Dad's 93rd birthday.) Hallelujah is all I can say. So to my dear friend Celia - thank you-thank you-thank you dear friend and prayer warrior. Yes you are right: "what if we just went about finding out God's will and pray that?"

It gets better....today we found a rental house $25 under our monthly budget, it is available NOW, OK to have dogs, and just around the corner from where we are currently staying. Is God good or what? The landlord said she was just waiting for a family like us to rent her home (has turned down 5 applications so far!) So I say again, IS GOD GOOD OR WHAT?

And, BTW, we are coming to Ktown on THIS Friday, to pack up our stuff on Saturday....come on over to 804 Alamo Drive ---let's make it a packing party!!! I can't wait to see you all!

P.S. Our new home WILL have a guest room! Did I mention IT HAS A PERFECT SCRAPBOOKING ROOM off of the master bedroom....
