8 years old

Annie's 8th birthday. She was given the option of a small spend the night party or a bigger fun party somewhere. She chose the spend the night party, which was even smaller when only 1 girl could actually spend the night, and another could not come at the last minute. So 3 girls had to make the noise of 10 to make up for it. We had a "Hannah Montana" stage set up in the garage, (complete with smoke machine, party lights, & runway) so the girls put on a show for the grown-ups, after their make up session, of course. I think they had fun, well at least Annie surely did. The next day she said "Mom, this was my best day ever!"

OK, I'm WAY behind...

on this blogging thing. So much has happened this last month. Not only is school OUT ---- YEE HAA! We turned 8 years old, had a blast at 2 camps (church & girl scouts), and now we're on our 3rd vacation Bible school and getting ready for a BIG reunion of our Chinese adoptive families coming to Ingram this week. These pictures are from Annie's school family festival where the petting zoo was my fav. The llama really liked Annie (not just because she had food?) and the camel wanted a kiss. I loved the way the llamas posed for the pictures. Do ya think he's done this before? They had THE cutest calf, who was sleeping in a dog kennel. It's just a good thing our yard is small.
